These often have advantages over the branded units for the following reasons:
  • As well as the 12 month parts & labor warrantee given by us on hardware (very rarely needed), many of the major parts have much longer replacement warrantees on  them. eg. hard drives & CPU's have 3 years.
  • The parts or their equivalents are easily available to most computer repairer. Branded PC's often use non standard parts which either become very expensive or unavailable. Some manufacturers even refuse to supply parts and insist on you using their over priced repair services!
  • The parts in that branded PC you are about to buy could already be 2 years "out of date" compared to  those available to us. ( For example, ask the sales person for FSB and RAM speeds when looking to purchase a branded PC. They either won't know or won't want to tell you!) 
  • What this all means in plain English is that we build our PC's to not only remain reliable for longer, but also to delay for longer your computer from becoming obsolete!
Here are 3 examples of what we can build for you with prices:

Entry Level

This is the minimum that you need now to keep up with future developments for the next 3 to 4 years if you mainly use the computer for basic internet and office functions. It is wise to take into account that security programs such as anti-virus, anti-spyware and firewalls have used up more computer power with each new version that has come out.

Mid-Range

This is the system you need to be able to edit your home movies and other power hungry functions like PC gaming. 

Media Center

As more and more TV services become available on the internet and more set-top boxes resemble computers with hard drives in them to store programs. It is coming to the point where it is wise to have one system to serve both functions with far more flexibility..

Terms & Conditions for sales of computers
Computer systems are only built to order. Parts are only purchased from our suppliers when an order for a computer has been placed and agreed deposit (normally 50%) has been paid with cleared funds available to C. Fry trading as Micros4u. As wholesale prices and availability can fluctuate, the cost and exact specifications will be given just before the order is confirmed and the deposit is paid. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the agreed order will be completed and supplied within 5 working days. The balance of the agreed price will paid with cleared funds at the time of supplying the ordered equipment. The equipment remains the property of C. Fry until the final payment is made in full. The wholesale suppliers will not accept returns unless they are faulty. For this reason if the order is cancelled by the purchaser, the deposit will be held until the purchased parts and materials have been sold on Ebay and any losses and expenses recovered from the deposit. Any remaining balance will then be returned to the purchaser.
